Today I thought I would do a leisurely bike ride in and around the town of Salida. If you have ever driven through Salida on Highway 50, you might have seen signs like these that point to downtown Salida.

The downtown area of Salida is definitely interesting. Here is a photo of Tenderfoot Mountain with an old mill in the foreground.
