FREMONT COUNTY, COLORADO: Sangre De Cristo Mountains From Howard & Coaldale) May 2006

Not long ago I was in the passenger seat of my buddy's truck as we drove westbound on Highway 50. The section in Fremont County from Swissvale to Texas Creek is so beautiful and scenic, and in the area near Howard and Coaldale, I snapped a few photos of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.

Just beautiful! And to think real estate in Fremont County is still comparatively cheaper than many other ritzy areas of Colorado.
