The above photo was taken in Summer 2006 as I stood right on Cottonwood Pass Road on
the Chaffee County side of the
Continental Divide.
The mountain in the background
is "Jones Mountain South" with the altitude at approximately 12,995 feet at the summit.
Cottonwood Pass Road is open usually from Memorial Day weekend until November 1.
