October 9, 2006 - We had three days of extremely cloudy weather (October 8-10), with rain in Buena Vista, and a mix of sleet and snow in the higher elevations. On the 9th, I snapped these two photos of Cottonwood Creek near the Cottonwood Hot Springs (top) and snow-covered trees near the entrance to the Ptarmigan Lake trailhead.
	October 10, 2006 - On Monday, I made another drive along Cottonwood Pass Road. Adjacent photo shows remaining autumn foliage on the roadside.

	Heading back downhill, Mt. Yale's summit is blurred out by the grayness. It would be in the top left part of the photo if it were clear.
